  The fabric used for the exterior of our accessories is waterproof and has the appearance of 100% natural leather in a microfiber that is washable, light, and highly resistant, and even against chemical agents.
  The STANDARD Oeko-Tex 100 is an independent testing and certification system that certifies that the fabric we use has been tested and meets the required criteria to be considered a fabric free of toxic substances, toxic to health.

MATERIAL

Made of corn waste

The fabric used for this case is a vegan alternative to leather, a bio-sourced material made with corn waste.

This fabric is waterproof and looks and feels like 100% natural leather, is washable, light, ecological, and highly resistant, and counts with the certification STANDARD Oeko-Tex 100.
The STANDARD Oeko-Tex 100 is an independent testing and certification system that certifies that the fabric meets the required criteria to be considered an ecological fabric free of toxic substances.

PET for the lining

RPET takes plastic that has already been created, usually plastic bottles, and chops the bottles into tiny flakes. These flakes are then melted to separate the core PET ingredient inside the bottle. This PET is then used to make the lining. Not only is up to 50% less energy used than making PET from scratch but using existing bottles already created, ensures these bottles don’t end up in a landfill. It also means we can leave the planet as it is: rather than obtaining the core ingredient via the highly damaging process of crude oil primary extraction, we instead make use of a product in abundance that may otherwise have directly contributed to landfills.

Care

Taking into account the material,  the most efficient way to care for the accessory is to wipe it with a damp cloth and store it protected in the provided dust cover.
